Henry Hunt (1773-1835), Radical politician and demagogue; MP for Preston

Radical politician. He presided at 'Peterloo' in 1819 and championed many reforming causes, especially annual Parliaments, universal suffrage, votes by ballot, women's rights and abolition of the Corn Laws.
