A painting by A. Egg was exhibited SKM, 1868 (615), lent by Mrs Leech; a painting by A. H. Tourrier, after a photograph by Silvy (example and related woodcut in G), was in the collection of Miss Mary Leech, 1892; a self-portrait water-colour (with his sister) was exhibited Ben Marshall and John Leech, Leicester Museum and Art Gallery, 1967 (125), lent by the Fine Art Society, London, and a self-portrait drawing is in the Garrick Club, London; a drawing by R. Doyle is reproduced M. H. Spielmann, The History of Punch (1895), p 339; there are two etchings, one by D. Todd (examples in NPG); several photographs are in the NPG, and a woodcut, after one by MacLean, Melhuish and Haes, was published ILN, XLV (1864), 508.
