McClintock, exhibited First Annual Exhibition, Royal Society of Portrait Painters, 1891 (27), and Great Irishmen, Ulster Museum, Belfast, 1965 (124); a painting by R. Dowling was exhibited RA, 1880 (390); a marble bust by J. R. Kirk is in the Royal Dublin Society, exhibited Royal Hibernian Academy, 1862; a woodcut, after a photograph by Beard, was published ILN, XX (1852), 336, and an engraving by D. J. Pound, after a photograph by Cheyne, was published 1861 (example in NPG), for the 'Drawing Room Portrait Gallery'; there are various photographs and engravings in the NPG.
