Painting by Henri Gascar, standing three-quarter-length in fanciful Roman costume holding his seated mother’s hand; Deene Park. Exhibited Painted Ladies at the Court of Charles II, NPG/New Haven, 2001, no.51. Richmond’s wife, Anne Brudenell, was the sister of the 3rd Earl of Cadogan of Deene Park.

An untitled engraving by B. Lens (J. Chaloner Smith, British Mezzotinto Portraits, 16), showing a youthful Adonis with hound in a landscape, has been identified as Richmond (extra-illustrated Wheatley’s London, II/iii, p 557; NPG library).
A whole-length portrait in Garter robes by Lely at Lennoxlove (listed by D. Piper, Catalogue of the Seventeenth Century Portraits in the National Portrait Gallery 1625-1714, 1963; illus. C. H. Hartmann, La Belle Stuart, 1924, p 196) shows the 3rd Duke of Richmond (1639-72).
