A painting by H. W. Pickersgill is in the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, exhibited RA, 1848 (366), engraved by A. Fox, published T. Fielder, 1850 (example in NPG); also in the Maritime Museum is a painting by J. R. Wildman of 1833-4, engraved by R. M. Hodgetts, published Colnaghi, 1835, and by H. Cook, published Colnaghi, 1840 (examples in NPG), and a painting by an unknown artist; the latter is possibly the picture owned by Mr Chatto, 1913, or a version after it; a painting by an unknown artist of 1833 is in the Royal Geographical Society, London, exhibited Royal Naval Exhibition, Chelsea, 1891 (34); in the same collection there is a water-colour by an unknown artist, a reproduction of a drawing by an unknown artist, and an engraving by F. Holl of 1860, after a drawing by G. Richmond of 1849 (drawing not recorded in Richmond's 'Account Book'); there is a lithograph by J. Negelen (example in NPG), and a lithograph by T. H. Maguire of 1851 (example in NPG), published G. Ransome, 1852, for 'Ipswich Museum Portraits'; a photograph is in the NPG; a woodcut was published ILN, III (1843), 268.
