Painting by Lely c.1660, a youngish man three-quarter length seated, wearing black with broad white bands, left hand on arm of carved chair. Easton Neston (G. Vertue, Notebooks, Wal. Soc., XXIV, 1936, p 38, citing a PL monogram).
