A painting by G. F. Watts is owned by the Royal Artillery, London, exhibited RA, 1875 (188), and VE, 1892 (29); a painting by D. Y. Blakiston was exhibited RA, 1854 (182); a bust by J. Durham is in the Royal Society, London, probably that exhibited RA, 1860 (1060); a bust by Miss L. Pasley was exhibited RA, 1880 (1628); a lithograph by T. H. Maguire was published G. Ransome, 1852 (example in NPG), for 'Portraits of Honorary Members of Ipswich Museum'; woodcuts were published ILN, IX (1846), 184, LV (1869), 353 (after a photograph), and LXXXIII (1883), 13; there is a photograph by W. Walker in the NPG.
