A painting by Sir H. Herkomer of 1879 is at King's College, Cambridge, exhibited Summer Exhibition, Grosvenor Gallery, 1880 (140), and VE, 1892 (141); a painting by H.R. Graves is at Eton College, exhibited RA, 1863 (214); a drawing by R. Lehmann of 1859 is in the British Museum, reproduced R. Lehmann, Men and Women of the Century (1896), p 71, exhibited RA, 1869 (1135); a miniature (with two ladies) by A. Robertson was exhibited RA, 1819 (881), presumably the miniature, said to be of 1816, engraved by G. J. Stodart (example in NPG), for S. Lane-Poole, The Life of Stratford Canning (1888), I, frontispiece; there is an engraving by F. C. Lewis, after J. Slater (example in NPG), for the 'Grillions Club' series; an entry of 1828 in R. J. Lane's 'Account Books' (NPG archives), I, 15, referring to his lithograph after J. Slater, is presumably the lithograph after the same drawing as that engraved by Lewis (example in British Museum, where the lithograph is said to be anonymous); there is an anonymous engraving, a photograph by G. Glanville, and an anonymous woodcut after a photograph (examples in NPG).
