Jacob Tonson II (1682-1735), Publisher; nephew of Jacob Tonson I

Nephew of the celebrated publisher Jacob Tonson I, whose business he successfully continued from c.1720; he took over his uncle’s house, Barn Elms in Surrey, and built a special room there to accommodate the kit-cat portraits; died just months before his uncle.
