36 sketches, mainly portraits of theatrical personalities sketched in Melbourne and Sydney in the early 1890s and autographed by the sitter. The album also includes figure and animal studies as well as portraits of several writers and journalists affiliated with Black and White Magazine, added to the album during or after 1896.
