Comedians, actors and writers, Brydon and Coogan have collaborated on numerous occasions. They appeared together in Michael Winterbottom's comedy film A Cock and Bull Story (2006) and recently played caricatured versions of themselves in the guise a food critic and his friend in the Winterbottom-scripted sitcom The Trip (2010). Photographed for The Sunday Times Culture magazine. Hardcastle depicted the duo's combative relationship, seen in The Trip, using a field mouse and owl as props.
