In 1964 Lousada photographed Black outside the London Palladium for the American magazine Mademoiselle. She is shown at the centre of this group photograph, with her then boyfriend Bobby Willis, whom she married in January 1969. Willis had been her manager since 1967, and their enduring professional and personal partnership remained until his death in October 1999.
