Harold Macmillan delivers his 'wind of change' speech to the South African Parliament in Cape Town, announcing Britain's decision to grant independence to many of her colonies. If you have back-copies of The Studio/Studio International magazine from about 1962-64, you may find the "Artists at Work" series article that this image was taken for. More to the point, the text may tell you where Soukop's studio actually was. Most of the series involved a visit to artists in their studios (just occasionally in their homes), hence the title.
