Gwynedd Haslock is considered a pioneer of British surfing and she started surfing out on wooden bellyboards to enjoy the power of waves and whitewater. She is one of Britain's oldest female surfers.
We met on the beach in Cornwall where she struck a pose similar to one she struck for a magazine in the 50's. She is probably in her late 60's and still surfs today! see this article for a link to bellyboards http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2596980/Surfs-grab-coffin-lid-Pictures-Britains-surfers-grabbing-piece-wood-catch-Cornish-waves.html
