'Other People's Worries' by R C Carton seems to have had its debut at the Comedy Theatre in London's Haymarket in the spring of 1922, and apparently went on to become a touring rep. production. It was staged at the New Theatre, Boston, Lincs in January 1923, when the cast included Cherry Herbert (above left). It is clear from Leslie's own annotation that the other two figures in this image were also members of the cast. He has kindly made a note of who they played in the production.
A photograph of musical actress Marie Douglas ('the latest discovery') was published in 'The Era' on Wednesday 18 July, 1923. Fortunately she was photographed in profile, and shows a striking resemblance to Leslie's silhouette.
