The robe is oiseau crape over satin, to correspond; a low corsage trimmed with a pelerine of the same height; it is slashed horizontally; the slashes are filled with blond, and the pelerine is bordered both at bottom and top with blond lace. Beret sleeves. A single knot of oiseau ribbon ornaments the pelerine in the centre of the front. The border of the dress is trimmed to correspond, but with a knot of ribbon in the centre of each slash. The hair is parted on the forehead, dressed very low on the summit of the head, and ornamented with sprigs of damask roses, and knots of ribbons. Necklace and ear-rings pearls.
