Described in the magazine:
Carriage Dress - Taffetas robe striped and figured in blue and white, a low corsage very full draped in front, tight back. Short sleeve, composed of three double biais over a long sleeve of India muslin, made demi-large at the upper part, but confined on the fore-arm by embroidered entre deux, to each of which a row of lace is attached. High chemisette, also ornamented with entre deux. The skirt is rather more than a three-quarter length, displaying two embroidered flounces that trim the under-dress. The silk robe is decorated with a single deep flounce, cut in waves round the border. White crape chapeau, covered with three falls of point d'Angleterre, the one falling over the crown is arranged on one side in two hollow plaits, in each of which is a flower.
Morning Visiting Dress - Green taffetas robe, with a small cardinal pelerine, bordered with very deep fringe. Long tight sleeve, and small round mancheron, edged to correspond. The skirt is trimmed with two very deep tucks, each edged with fringe. Fichu à la Marie Antoinette, of Organdy, it is a close fitting habit-shirt, very open on the bosom, with an embroidered collar. The bonnet presents a back view of the one already described.
