This portrait by the photographer Olivia Rose, was taken in the Chequers pub, Oxford, shortly before Stormzy’s speech to the Oxford Guild. It was published in Olivia Rose and Hattie Collins’s book This is Grime, in which Stormzy is quoted as saying: 'Me, Michael, Abigail's son, me with my family and friends, my journey from the get go has always been bigger than myself. I don’t want to get too spiritual, but on a destiny one, for me to grow, I have to help other people.'
