Renowned for their outspoken social activism, the well-known fashion models and friends Adwoa Aboah (b.1992) and Cara Delevingne (b.1992) opened and closed Christopher Bailey's final fashion show for Burberry in 2018. Celebrating Bailey’s transformative tenure as designer and Chief Executive Officer for the brand, his collection demonstrated retro streetwear influences and relaxed glamour, as seen in Aboah's oversized graffiti-print hoodie and casual full skirt, and Delevingne's padded gilet and polka-dot trainers. The recurring rainbow motif in the collection paid homage to the LGBTQ community – Bailey was notably the first openly gay executive among FTSE 100 corporations. Published in Vogue in 2018, this photograph is from a series taken by Paul Wetherall honouring Bailey's legacy.
