Artist's statement: This photograph was taken a few days after I came home from university due to the pandemic. I was visiting my grandma whilst keeping a safe distance, which felt strange because we always used to hug when we saw each other, especially since I’ve been at university and those times are more scarce. I took this impromptu photograph while she showed us some old photographs she had found recently. This one of her with my grandad in Calella for their honeymoon in 1964 stood out for me.
