Closely related to the marble bust of Bright by Boehm in the collection of the Earl of Rosebery, Dalmeny, exhibited RA, 1882 (1677). A terra-cotta version was exhibited VE, 1892 (1073), lent by Boehm's executors. Bright records several sittings with Boehm during May 1881 and March 1882 (see Diaries of John Bright, edited R. A. J. Walling (1930), pp 463-5, and 476).
