Bunbury is shown, pencil in hand, at work on a drawing for his print 'A Long Minuet as Danced at Bath', engraved by Dickinson and published 25 June 1787 in four plates (M. D. George, Political and Personal Satires, VI, 1938, no. 7229).

Three-quarter-length seated aged about 38, engaged in drawing his Long Minuet; light brown hair (or wig), blue eyes, fresh complexion, slight smile; brown coat, buff trousers, white waistcoat, white shirt and bow-tie; greenish-blue table-cloth, brown pencil in right hand, stone pillar left, tree-trunk right; paper inscribed Long Minuet with 8 dancing figures.
