Fresh complexion, dark blue eyes, brown hair. Dressed in a light green dress, with white lace collar, cuffs and shawl, heavy gold bracelet, and two black velvet bands on her arms, the one on the left with a ruby stone. Pale blue stone in her necklace. Red carpet with blue pattern on the left. Gilt table at left, with a blue vase, and red and white chrysanthemums(?), and blue and red tulips. Gilt chair at right with red embossed velvet covering. Wooden library table with silver inkstand. Gilt chair beyond with red velvet covering. Faded red curtain behind at left. Panelling dark brown.
