Seven related drawings are in the NPG Reference Collection in a bound volume of Hayter's studies for 'The Trial' (NPG 2662). A pen and ink drawing in profile in the British Museum is reproduced in Peter Quennell's Princess Lieven, 1937.
The drawings [NPG 1695(a-x)] were made ad vivum in the House of Lords from August to November 1820 during the course of the trial of the Queen.
