A reduced version of a three-quarter-length pattern seen at the Deanery, Chichester, [1] and Trinity Hall, Cambridge, [2] which show a bishop’s mitre and staff behind him. The suggested attribution to John Greenhill (d. 1676) is made unlikely by the probable date of the picture.
