A copy, with minor differences, of the whole length in the Devonshire collection, Chatsworth. Scharf suggests it was painted 'by John Powell, a pupil of Sir Joshua Reynolds, as a guide to the engraver'. [1]

Slightly rubbed and varnish discoloured; re-stretched and extended approximately ½ in. down left side of the picture; repaired 1889.
