Roubiliac is seen finishing a bust of Garrick (presumably in terracotta) in the portrait by Andrea Soldi dated 1757/8 in the Garrick Club. [1] A marble bust, now untraced, was in Mrs Garrick's sale, Christie's, 23 June 1823, lot 72.
Roubiliac made a gilt-bronze plaque of Garrick dated 1758, [2] and four plaster medallions, three wax medallions and two terracotta busts were in Roubiliac's sale, Langford’s, 12-15 May 1762. He also made in 1758 the celebrated statue of Shakespeare for Garrick’s Temple at Hampton (now in the British Museum).
