Adams exhibited impressions from the unfinished dies of his medallion of Hardinge, RA, 1845 (1304); models for both obverse and reverse of the medallion were exhibited the same year (1313). The medal of Hardinge by Adams exhibited RA, 1847 (1292) was presumably of a different type, possibly done to commemorate his peerage.
