Head and shoulders to right in dark blue coat, white shirt-frill, grey powdered hair, blue eyes, plump rosy complexion and smiling expression.

Bequeathed in 1920 by H. V. Metcalfe (possibly a descendant as Hone's sister Mary married a Dr Metcalfe and Nathaniel Hone painted 'Miss Julie Metcalfe with her dog').
