1 A. Fea, Beauties of the Seventeenth century, 1906, p 216, recorded that the Drummonds had inherited paintings from the Dukes of St Albans who had left them to the grandfather of the George Drummond who lent portraits to the Fair Women exhibition at the Grafton Gallery in 1894.
