Another version of this wax is in the collection of Lord Faringdon, and a third was offered to the NPG in 1943. Lucas modelled an earlier series of wax reliefs of Palmerston in 1851, the type exhibited RA, 1851 (1386); examples of this are in the Victoria and Albert Museum (Gunnis Bequest), Brooks's Club, London, and the Pyke Collection, the latter reproduced Country Life, CXXXL (1962), 659.
