This drawing of the Puseys at breakfast, and a companion one of the Herberts on the reverse, was sent by Clara Pusey to Alice Herbert, as an amusing commentary on the friendship between themselves and their families. The inscription is given at length in the discussion of the collection as a whole. The figures at the table are, from left to right, a servant, the Rev J. Brine, Alice Herbert, Clara Pusey, Edith Pusey, Robinson, Mrs Brine, Sidney Pusey and Dr Edward Pusey.
