This is the only recorded portrait of Walker. He is wearing the Arctic Medal (1818-55).
Physical descriptionback to top
Healthy complexion, dark eyes, brown hair and beard. Dressed in a dark stock, white shirt, with two yellow buttons set with red stones, dark waistcoat and coat, with silver watch-chain, and a silver medal with a grey ribbon. Background colour dark brown.

Commissioned or purchased by Lady Franklin, and bequeathed by her niece, Miss Sophia Cracroft, in accordance with the wishes of her aunt, 1892.
