NPG 2392a, a plain plaster copy of George Frampton’s death mask of Herbert Beerbohm Tree, was deposited at the National Portrait Gallery at an unknown date, and lacks provenance. [1] For more information on this posthumous portrait, a bronze-painted copy of which was accepted by the Gallery in 1929, see NPG 2392.
