According to Ancestry, with whom I have been researching my family history for some time, I am related to the subject of the portrait. He is my 8th Great Grandfather. This is of considerable interest to me as it brings in a host of other members of the Wright family, all in the legal profession and some in the early colonial days of America. It also connect to the Wren family with whom I have an interest,
