Described in the magazine:
This is a dress of mignonette-leaf-green satin, trimmed with a broad bias fold of pink, scaloped at the upper part: between the scalops depend full bell-ornaments, which give an air of novelty to the trimming: each ornament is surmounted by a small rosette of green riband. The body is made plain, and fastened down the front with small pink buttons. The sleeves are short, plain, and very full, and are bound next to the arm with pink riband. A row of points, of pink satin, decorate the top of the sleeves; and a pink sash encircles the waist, with long ends. The toque is of black velvet, green satin, and blond, adorned with full-blown roses; and pink topazes form the necklace.
