Described in the magazine:
This is a close pelisse-gown of gros-de-Naples, the colour verd-antique, with a very broad border of marten skin, and a tippet of the same fur, with long ends, thrown over the shoulders. The pelisse has no collar; but one in fine lace, of a Vandyck pattern, falls over it. A hat of black velvet, ornamented on the crown and part of the brim with very broad amber riband, and cherry-coloured puffs of sarcenet, is tied closely under the chin, on the left side, with a small bow of red riband, while broad strings of the amber riband are worn in a loop. The hat is trimmed at the edge of the brim with a ruche of pink and white crape.
We are indebted to Miss Pierrepoint for the above tasteful dresses, which were finished at her Magazin des Modes, Edward-street, Portman-square.
