As the owner of Antonio's Italian Takeaway, in Middleton, and San Giorgio Italian restaurant in Mossley, Anthony Owens, utilised his supply chains and kitchen to make meals for the vulnerable in society who may have found getting their own supplies difficult due to isolating, childcare or being out of work. With the help of his staff who volunteered their time, these meals were delivered to members of the community entirely for free. In total across two sites, over 2,000 meals were delivered to the vulnerable in Middleton, Mossley and surrounding areas. Pictured is Anthony's cousin, Declan.
