The photograph was taken by my son-in-law, Kamal. My daughter Sarah is expecting her first child and had just had her 12-weeks scan a few days earlier. Sarah and my son-in-law drove from their home near Manchester over to my parents' house in West Yorkshire, just so they could show her grandparents the scan photograph. Both her grandparents are in their 90s and were shielding, so had not seen anyone other than carers since the lockdown began. The look on my dad’s face says it all –he looks so happy; it brings tears to my eyes every time I look at this photograph.
