6-8 years: Give Peas a Chance

Follow these instructions to learn how to draw the symbol and then create a pattern using objects from around the house.

You will need: paper, pencil, a cup or round object, a collection of small items, e.g. peas, raisins, blueberries, cereal, pasta shapes...


1.Start by drawing around a round object like an empty cup.

2. Now draw a line down the middle using a ruler.

3. Add 2 shorter lines coming down at an angle from the middle of your vertical line.

4. Now cover all your pencil lines with small objects, for example raisins.
