12 years+: Small-scale Drawings

Practice your observational drawing skills by drawing small objects, like a Lego figure. Place the object on the paper and draw directly beside it, on the same scale. The trick to making an accurate observational drawing is to constantly look back at what you are drawing. You should spend more time looking at the object than the page you are drawing on! Try drawing other small items such as paperclips, keys, pencil sharpeners...
