Mary went on lots of adventures during her lifetime that aren’t captured in the portrait we have seen. Draw a new portrait of Mary which shows her travelling across the ocean to go and help in the Crimean War. She could be cooking food like stew and rice pudding that the soldiers loved, riding onto the battlefields on a horse with cannon balls whizzing over her head or writing about her life in her autobiography called The Wonderful Adventures of Mrs Seacole in Many Lands.
