Students will explore a wide range of historical and contemporary portraits. Using a range of creative activities and techniques they will respond to artworks they connect with. Bring sketchbooks and take inspiration from the National Portrait Gallery's world-class Collection.

This session is for one class of up to twenty-five students to take part.
- Explore how artists convey identity through a range of artistic methods, materials and processes.
- Develop portrait analysis and visual literacy skills.
- Use sketchbooks to explore ideas and develop creative skills and techniques.
- Develop general and specialist vocabulary in the subject of Art & Design.
