Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Art Conservation Project

Case Study

Bank of America Merrill Lynch awarded the National Portrait Gallery funding to undertake essential conservation work on three Tudor portraits from the Gallery’s Collection and the production of a series of films documenting the conservation process through the company’s global Art Conservation Project in 2013.

The conservation has now been completed and the portraits are on now display in The Real Tudors: Kings and Queens Rediscovered, which runs until 1 March 2015. For more information about the display and to view films documenting the treatment undertaken visit The Real Tudors: Kings & Queens Rediscovered.
