Visiting the Gallery

We welcome families with young children at the Gallery. Admission to the Gallery is free, and entry to exhibitions is free for children under 12 years in family groups.

Here’s how to make the most of your visit.

  • Pick up one (or all!) of our free activity trails when you arrive. Explore the gallery in fun and playful ways then collect your reward at the Information Desk.

  • The gallery is accessible for prams and buggies.

  • There are baby changing facilities in each of the accessible toilets which you can find on Floors -2 and -3.

  • Parents and guardians are welcome to breastfeed or bottle-feed anywhere in the gallery. There is bench seating around the gallery.

  • There is a lunchroom within the Learning Centre on Floor -3 which is accessible to families during family days. There is also a ‘Nippers’ menu available in the café.

Kindly note that consuming food or drink in the galleries is not permitted.
