Creative Connections is an exciting national participation project for young people and artists. GCSE art students work collaboratively with artists to discover the Gallery’s Collection, explore the portraits and inspirational stories of people associated with their neighbourhood, and respond by creating new art. Creative Connections launched in 2012 and is now being developed in partnership with the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry; Museums Sheffield, Southampton City Art Gallery and Newlyn Art Gallery & The Exchange in 2021-23.
