Though best-known as a royal photographer in the 1960s and 1970s, Buckley's long career as a portraitist stretched from 1937-1975. Thirty of the 240 prints in the Gallery's collection will be shown for the first time and include studies of Kenneth Williams, Virginia McKenna, Alec Guinness, Carol Reed and a group of official royal portraits.
