Science in Focus: Portraits of Scientists

Two important newly acquired collections of photographs of scientists form the basis of this display: eleven colour portraits by Anita Corbin and John O’Grady, and eight black and white portraits by Anne-Katrin Purkiss. Sitters include Nobel Prize winners Antony Hewish, César Milstein and Sir James Whyte Black. The photographs show each sitter with a background relevant to their pioneering work.
