William Holman Hunt
by David Wilkie Wynfield

Marking the centenary of William Holman Hunt's death on 7 September 1910, this display celebrates the life of the ‘High Priest of Pre-Raphaelitism' with a selection of photographs dating from the 1860s to 1890s. Highlights include David Wilkie Wynfield's playful image of Holman Hunt in the style of a portrait by Hans Holbein and a charming photograph of his daughter Gladys posing as an angel by Frederick Hollyer.
