These intimate art weekends enable you to explore, develop and improve your creativity. Working alongside leading artists and photographers, take inspiration from the Gallery and look at portraiture in new, exciting ways. Class numbers are limited to 12. All materials are provided.

Mohamed Hassan, whose work is currently on display in the Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize 2018, leads this workshop focusing on dramatic studio lighting and how to connect with your model. Suitable for those who already have some knowledge of digital photography and know how to use their cameras in manual mode.

Mohamed Hassan is a Wales-based portrait and fine art photographer, originally from Alexandria, Egypt.

Since graduating with a 1st class honours degree in Photography from Carmarthen School of Art, Mo has exhibited internationally in Egypt, London, Morocco and Wales and now spends his time working in both Pembrokeshire and Egypt.

He has also been shortlisted for several prestigious international and Welsh national awards and competitions and is one of the exhibiting photographers at the Taylor Wessing Photographic Prize 2018 exhibition.
